It has come to the notice that some unscrupulous persons posing themselves as employees/representatives/agents of Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizer Corporation Limited (BVFCL) with ulterior motive to earn wrongful gain and/or cheat the public are fraudulently offering dealership opportunity with BVFCL online on websites/email/ facebook or through telephone calls or fake letters and are asking them to deposit some amount in certain bank account. These people are also unauthorisedly using the name, address, domain name and logo of BVFCL with a view to tarnish the image and reputation of BVFCL.
Through this notice, general public is cautioned that BVFCL is a Central Public Sector under the administrative control of Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers and have neither appointed nor authorized any person to offer dealership online on websites, email, facebook, or to issue any letters or act on its behalf or use its name, trademark and logo/website address.
The public in general are advised not to fall prey to such fraudulent activities. For appointment of dealers BVFCL follows a laid down procedure which includes advertisement in newspapers. Anyone dealing with such fake calls would be doing so at his / her own risk and BVFCL shall not be responsible for any loss or damage suffered by such persons, directly or indirectly.
