Marketing Network
BVFCL Primarily manufactures Neem Coated Urea and markets the products under the brand name “MUKTA”. It also produces 4 types of “Mukta-Bio” Bio-fertilizers viz. Azotobactar, Phosphobactrin, Azospirillum & Rhizobium. In order to help the farmers enhance the soil quality and increase productivity, we have embarked on an ambitious project to manufacture Vermicompost and other organic manures. We also have Marketing tie up with M/s National Fertilizers Ltd (A Govt. of India Undertaking) for Urea, MOP, DAP; M/s Indian Potash Ltd for MOP, DAP; M/s Progressive Fertichem Pvt Ltd and M/s Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers for SSP; M/s Rohini Fire Safety Pvt Ltd for City Compost; M/s Anmol Agrifarms Inputs Pvt Ltd for Micronutrients i.e. Zinc Sulphate, Boron etc.; M/s Hanusita & Sons for Rock Phosphate trading business. The Company’s endeavour is to serve the farming community in best possible way so that all the Agricultural Inputs are made available to them under one roof. The Company has also entered into agreement with M/s MMTC for Export of Urea to Nepal.
The marketing territory of BVFCL consists of the entire North Eastern Region, West Bengal, Bihar and part of Jharkhand. BVFCL enjoys a distinct preference among farming community all over its marketing territory because of superior quality, good packaging and compatibility with major crops of the area. Field marketing activities is undertaken by a widespread marketing network comprising well-trained marketing officials. BVFCL is the Lead Fertilizer Supplier (LFS) in entire NE Region with a market share of more than 70%.
BVFCL is having its Corporate Marketing Office at Namrup and State Marketing Offices at Guwahati & Patna to coordinate marketing activities and for meeting the requirements of BVFCL products in all North Eastern States, West Bengal & Bihar respectively. BVFCL Distribution network consists 583 dealers including Cooperative societies/ Institutional buyers/Private dealers & 10 Kisan Suvidha Kendras at different locations. Thus the Company has a well spread Dealers network comprising Private/ Cooperative/Krishi Kendras for wider reach & better marketing of its products.

Distribution & Warehousing
BVFCL Urea is moved from factory to field warehouse by both Road & Rail. Movement through rail is resorted to on a need basis to distant locations at the shortest time. BVFCL is having own Rly. siding at both Namrup-II & III units. Cost effective mode of transport is adopted for supply of BVFCL Urea to all the states. Least cost module is being followed by BVFCL to control the transportation cost.
Fertilizer production is a continuous process but consumption of Urea is seasonal thereby rendering transportation, storage & distribution very important. The right product at right time at right place in right quantity is the most important aspect of marketing & distribution. To achieve this, BVFCL hires godowns of State Warehousing Corporations, Central warehousing Corporation and private dealers in the marketing territory at strategic locations to cater to the needs of farmers in best possible way.
Farm Services
BVFCL is regularly conducting Fertilizer Application Awareness Programmes, Farmers’ Training Programmes at village level for educating the farmers on various aspect of modern farming techniques by involving experts from Agriculture Deptt. & Universities. BVFCL is also participating in exhibitions / melas related to Agriculture. During field training programme, farmers are encouraged to draw the soil-samples from their field & carryout soil-testing at Govt. laboratories to ensure balanced use of fertilizers for improving crop yields and farmers profitability. Also many nearby villages are adopted and Mass Campaigning done for product promotion and publicity.
