Shri Mohan Raj Shetty
Shri Mohan Raj Shetty (DIN: 11068203) has done his Master of Technology (M. Tech.) in systems from National Institute of Technology (NIT) Karnataka, Surathkal. He completed his Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Metallurgy & Bachelor in Mass Communication (BMC) & Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Management (PGDIM) from VRCE, Nagpur
Shri Mohan Raj Shetty carries around 36 years of core sector experience cut across Marketing, Business Development, Logistics & Shipment, purchase & contracts, Computer and Information Technology(C& IT), Quality (QMS), Projects & Mines, with exemplary track records. Shri Shetty has served as Quality MR of plant and also headed ERM division as Risk officer of SAIL-VISL Plant. He has also served as Marketing western zone branch manager at Nagpur & Mumbai. Before joining Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizer Corporation Limited (BVFCL) as Chairman & Managing Director(CMD), he looked after steel township as Town administrator.
He is also recipient of highest PSU award “JJAWAHAR” for Defence product development.
Shri Shetty has assumed charged as Chairman & Managing Director, BVFCL w.e.f. 02.04.2025
Director (Production), Additional Charge
Shri. Megh Nath Goyal is a Mechanical Engineer with a Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical) from University of Rookee. He has about 33 years of rich experience in process plant maintenance, process management and project execution in various plants of National Fertilizers Limited. He was serving as the Executive Director (Nangal Unit Head) at National Fertilizers Limited , Nangal Unit, and has been instrumental in driving operational excellence and initiating diversification projects in the fertilizer sector.
Shri. Megh Nath Goyal has assumed additional charge as Director(Production) of BVFCL from 30th December’2025.
Chief Vigilance Officer, Shri Prabhas Kumar
PRABHAS KUMAR (1988 IDSE) has been deputed as Director in the Department of Fertilizers in Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers Government of India. He is presently holding the additional charge of Chief Vigilance Officer of BVFCL.
Director (P&K), DoF Shri Vinay Kumar Pandey
Shri Vinay Kumar Pandey (ISS, 2004 Batch), working as Director in the Department of Fertilizers, is the Govt. Nominee Director on the BVFCL Board . He did his M.Sc in Statistics from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi in 1999 and qualied CSIR (NET) also for Lecturership. He was in Government service from December , 1999 as Investigator in National Sample Survey Organisation and served at Khandwa, M.P. and Allahabad, U.P.. He got selected for Indian Statistical Service (ISS) in 2004. He has served in the field offices (Gwalior, M.P. & Raipur, Chhattisgarh) of Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation. He is posted in Delhi since September, 2010 and has served in Department of Expenditure, M/o Finance, Ministry of Labour & Employment and Ministry of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation before joining as Director in the Department of Fertilizers in December, 2018.
Director(Govt. Nominee Director) Dr Ashwani Kumar
Dr. Ashwani Kumar is an officer of Indian Economics Service (IES), 2012 batch. His educational qualification is Ph.D (Economics). He has served in different Ministries of Government of India i.e. MSME, Niti Aayog, Information & Broadcasting as Addl. Economics Adviser.
He is presently working as Joint Director (IC) in the Department of Fertilizers, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India. He is now appointed as Government Nominee Director on the Board of M/s. Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizer Corporation Limited (BVFCL) w.e.f. 28.10.2024.
Shri Surendra Thakur, Government Nominee Director
Shri Surendra Thakur is an officer of the Central Secretariat Services. His educational qualifications are M.Sc. (Physics) and PG Diploma in Disaster Preparedness & Rehabilitation. He has served in different Ministries of Government of India i.e. Ministry of Communications (Department of Posts, Department of Telecommunications, BSNL Corporate Office & TRAI-on deputation), Ministry of Culture (as AO in National Museum on deputation) and Ministry of Home Affairs (including deputation in NIDM as Joint Director).
He is presently working as Deputy Secretary (Estt, Gen Admn., IT & Cash) in the Department of Fertilizers, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India. He is now appointed as Government Nominee Director on the Board of M/s. Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizer Corporation Limited (BVFCL) w.e.f. 24.12.2024.
