For over five decades, the Namrup Fertilizer Complex has been more than just an industrial unit; it has been a symbol of India’s self-reliance and a lifeline for the agricultural heartlands of the North-East and Eastern India.
As the pioneers of gas-based fertilizer production in India, BVFCL carries a legacy of innovation. Today, we are building upon that foundation to transform into a modern, resilient, and Future-Ready Nutrient Solution Provider.

Despite the challenges of ageing infrastructure and complex logistics, our team has demonstrated extraordinary engineering acumen through indigenization and reverse engineering. This spirit of “making it work” ensures that we continue to meet the critical urea requirements of farmers in Assam, West Bengal, and Bihar.

- Operational Excellence: Modernizing our Namrup-II and Namrup-III units to achieve record production levels and improved energy efficiency.
- Digital Governance: Implementing new systems and transparent digital processes to enhance decision-making and accountability.
- Product Diversification: Moving beyond urea to provide a complete “basket” of agri-inputs, including bio-fertilizers, seeds, and micronutrients, under our trusted brand “MUKTA.”
